This module focuses on navigating busy urban areas, handling complex junctions, pedestrians, cyclists and busy traffic lights. You'll learn techniques for safely managing distractions and anticipating other road users' actions.

In all weathers

You'll learn how to drive in various weather conditions like rain, fog, snow and ice. You'll learn to adjust your speed, breaking and visibility techniques, as well as manage potential skids, making you a safer driver in unpredictable conditions.

On rural roads

Module covering driving on countryside roads, often narrow and winding with hazards like animals, cyclists and farm vehicles. You'll practice safe speeds, cornering and anticipation of potential risks that rural roads present.

The Pass Plus training course takes 6 hours to complete. All modules are practical sessions. You’ll normally spend at least 5.5 hours driving. Taking the Pass Plus training course offers several key benefits:

Focuses on the challenges of driving in the dark, including reduced visibility and adjusting to oncoming headlights. You'll learn how to use lights effectively and develop techniques for judging distance and spotting hazards.

On dual carriageways

Teaches skills needed for higher-speed roads, including safe merging, lane discipline, overtaking and assessing safe following distances. This module helps you stay calm and confident at higher speeds.

On motorways

This module prepares you for motorway driving with an emphasis on joining and leaving motorways, overtaking, lane discipline and understanding motorway signs and rules. This module builds confidence and teaches efficient navigation of fast-moving traffic.
